If you’re going to shoot regular civilian 30’06 rds in the M1 you need to get an adjustable gas plug. The civilian rds will screw up your op-rod.
I’m still struggling with the correct names for the bits and pieces.
I’ll use only the correct ammo to preserve this weapon no matter how long it take to get or pay for.
The historic value of the M1 Garand is more important than its sporting value.
