The average person drives around 16,000 or so miles a year- roughly- give or take- at $2.59 a gallon now, that works out to $1,658 per year for fuel-
at $5.59, which some folks think it will rise to, or higher, that works out to $3,578 p/y,
an additional $2000 almost- to drive the same distance as we can at today’s prices

All this about the left. They don’t control states through radicalism. It’s demographics with the chronically poor and minorities. Republican arguments don’t reach those people they are behind a wall of awful education and government handouts. And they will elect a corrupt mediocre Democrat over a war hero Renaissance man republican every day of the week.
That’s why you have open borders, drugs, failing schools. To provide the Democrat party with the permanent underclass who couldn’t care less about policy discussions.
They lose jobs, their communities are falling apart and they vote Democrat. The loss of energy jobs will just be shrugged off.
