Warren Buffett owns the BNSF railroad so Creepy Joe Biden wants to ensure that oil from Canada and the nearby Bakken formation in North Dakota will continue to be transported by BNSF.
Buffet has probably paid the Democrats more than the Canadians. The environmental argument is ludicrous because shipping oil in a rail care by train is far more likely to cause spills and creates far more air pollution from diesel locomotives.

BNSF took a big hit when Obama did his coal ban act. Yet not a peep from Buffett, and certainly no thanks to Trump when he lifted it.

The environmental argument is that piping the oil is more efficient, and will make the oil more readily available for use and thus cause global warming when used.
