As if being positive in the face of disaster didn't get us where we are today.
I agree. We have a lot to learn. Let’s get smarter. A bit more street smarter, like the Dems. We’ve been so nice, so polite. IMO. Still the power of positive thinking is strong.
Totally agree. There is a point where optimism turns to delusion. I also think we have bought into a big load of crap being sold to us over and over by establishment Republicans. The lesser of two evils conundrum has kept us as much on the farm as the democrats with the black vote.
No more.
There is and always has been another option other than the lesser of two evils but we failed to see it. The third option is ignoring national elections and DC and putting all time, effort and money into state politics. Take over the state at every level and nullify the federal government to the point of nearly being an independent nation. Many if not most conservatively run states in reality need very little from the federal government. States need the feds to provide a strong military and protect our borders and little else. So we take over our states and codify DC out of our lives leaving the feds only reason for existence being the military etc. Once we legislate them OUT of our business then we can begin to cut off the money supply. DC needs the states money far far more than we need them at any level.
So we cut off our money, votes, and effort and let all the DC republicans slowly drown in their own BS while we take over at the state level where all the money and power comes from to begin with.
