Believe you are right on McConnell who I hate for some things he has said.
Someone suggested in their video presentation that McConnell was trying to delay the trial to February to possibly help Trump. What do you think of this theory?
I think they already have worked out what they are going to do. They will try him, 6 or 7 Republicans will vote to convict, and then both sides can fund raise. Both know that a conviction will not happen, so this is just a fundraiser. They all hate us little folks equally as much. Pelosi can say that if they had just a little more dough, then they could have gotten it passed. McConnell can argue that if they had just a little more dough, then they could stave off the evil Democrats and win back the House and Senate. McCarthy will say that it is unconstitutional, but the evil Democrats will not honor the Constitution anyway, so send more dough. All sound familiar? In the mean time, the Supreme Court will be glad that they did not have to defend the constitution.
