"standoff with McConnell", yeah, good one. That was my first thought as well. The "standoff" is nothing more than an agreed-upon piece of Kabuki theater meant for the [assumed stupid] masses. Schumer and McCONnell met a couple days ago to plan a theatrical "standoff" and which day they agreed upon for the start of the fake impeachment. Both of them should go burn in HELL for eternity.
