Sorry I did not include you in my Comment #62. Love your links!! Would have included more at #62, but my Chromebook likes to erase my writing without my permission, so avoid links when I can. The last link there includes links for around 200 articles and videos, a number of which are no longer at Google or youtube. Meanwhile there are also a number of supplements one can take to reduce vulnerability to Covid, especially in winter when we are no longer getting sun produced Vitamin D.

My personal protection regimen includes Vitamin C, Vitamin D3, Cal/Mag/Zinc, a good multi vitamin/mineral one-daily vitamin tablet or 2, and a number of other supplements I have learned over my 82 years seem to be good for me. My COVID EMERGENCY bag in addition contains 2 kinds of zinc (I could not find the Zinc Sulfate recommended by Dr. Z) Quercetin (available over the counter at vitamin and health food stores), and powdered Vitamin C in case I want to take very high doses for acute illness. Personally, I have used 3 to 7 grams a day for 45 year to deal with my respiratory allergies to house dust, cool weather mold, ragweed, and cigarette smoke. Once in a wilderness situation I may have saved a woman’s life, I went to do volunteer duty at the camp’s “MASH” tent. A woman had been stung in the neck by 3 yellow jackets and forgot her bee sting kit. Her body was swollen all over, her eyes swollen shut and she was choking badly. The herbal “rescue remedy” was not working. I found a bottle of Vitamin C tablets and crushed 10 grams in a glass of water. She was able to drink it and in 20 minutes her eyes were open, the body swelling was reducing and she was no longer choking. After an hour I took a large number of 1 gram tablets with me and walked her back to her tent. I gave her 5 grams every hour. She took 50 grams over 8 hours and had no diarrhea. At 4 am she said she felt a lot better and I should go get some sleep. I left her with the rest of the C tablets. The next day I checked back and was told she had hiked out the 3 miles to go home. The high dose Vitamin C info has been known for 50+ years, but how would Big Pharma get rich if they did not supress nutritional treatments. Heck, Medicare might even become affordable.

Well once again you are right as apparently we are reading from the same playbook what I have done for better than forty years. No doubt you are familiar with Linus C. Pauling, winning the Nobel Prize twice and a big proponent of vitamin C. And on the side and for what its worth I think we are pretty close in age. I wish the younger generation would take more interest in nutrition, supplement as well as vitamins as by doing so they would save themselves a lot of trouble and would NOT have to rely on the government to hold their hands, neither would they have to be afraid of a virus which isn’t quite as bad as made out to be. But as the old saying goes, ignorance is bliss. Take care and stay healthy and well.
