Everyone did there part, the voters, Trump. In this instance the state officials were suppose to do their job.
The constitution brilliantly left the job to the legislature to stop a fraudulent election. Although they had to call a special session in time by the strange just too late for a regular session for a state legislature January 6th deadline. So Governors and SOSs got to be apart of the delay and the problem... So the previously elected State positions were at fault and did not do their job.

Only a few governors and secretary of States had to be blackmailed/extorted or bought off.
A few billion from China would be small change to the disasters they would be facing if Trump continued with his America First policy.
