WAS Republican. The current Democrat mayor who won in 2020 is Native American-something else (forgot!), a man married to another man.

They fraudulently destroyed my former city councilman, a conservative gay Republican, a few years ago when he ran for mayor because, God forbid, Republicans have "diverse" candidates. If that happened minorities might risk leaving the Dem plantation.
