Most research gets government support LOL. You've obviously never worked in research (I have). Government funds what it wants to. Research that stems tax revenue streams is not looked upon favorably. It used to be different: "Why do you think they call it dope?" Dope shop owners peddling dope. MEssing up kids' lives, one inner-city Black kid at a time.
