My days of "investing and speculating" in real estate are over. I used to own a slew of rental properties in Arizona when I lived there, invested in mortgage paper and flipped houses.

But I'm retired now, content to raise a herd of beef cattle on my farm and our 3 year old granddaughter, who we have adopted.

Life is much less hectic now.

Just watched the new Liam Neeson movie Marksmen. The location was down near the border in AZ. The character had a small cattle ranch. Do cattle actually eat the dry scrubby stuff or do you always have to supplement with lots of hay?
