Taking over (the) party worked for the democrats, taken over by the left.

Would work for the republican party as well, because most of the politicians in the republican party are spineless and will acquiesce to any suggestion rather than fight or resist with any real force.

Kind of like a neutron bomb.

Remove the lightweights, take over the machinery, oil it up some, and pedal to the metal!

Fully agree. Much higher chance of success compared to the spin-out method. The radical left did that with the Democrats (and continue to do so with the likes of Bernie and AOC). The Conservative right should do the same with the Republican platform. It already exists, it’s nationwide, it is known ...and taking over the party will not result in a splitting of votes. It really is the bright thing to do.

My fear is people are falling for yet another psyops campaign. While I fully understand why people want to split from the GOP, the ‘medicine’ would be fatal to Conservatism. It is exactly what the Democrats would want. A ‘Super Ross Perot party’ at the national level.

Best thing to do is to ‘infect’ the Republican Party with Conservatism rather than start from scratch. Unless, of course, the idea is to make noise rather than win.
