Democrats were for occupying capitols before they were against it
Washington Post ^ | 1/18/2021 | Mark Thieson

“Thousands of protesters rushed to the … Capitol Wednesday night, forcing their way through doors, crawling through windows and jamming corridors.” That is how one newspaper described the storming of the Capitol — not the one in Washington last week, but the state Capitol in Madison, Wis., a decade ago.

Back then, thousands of pro-union activists — many bused in from out of state — rampaged through the historic building in an effort to stop a vote on collective bargaining reform legislation. So, when I saw the images of a pro-Trump mob rampaging through the US Capitol last week, my first thought was: What is Scott Walker thinking right now?

“It’s like I’m having PTSD from a decade ago,” the former Republican governor of Wisconsin texted me.

I’m perplexed how Mark Thieson still remains at WaPo.

You’d think one of them would cut the bond by now.

“Washington Post?”

Yes, that was my reaction, too. Someone’s going to be in hot water for letting this slip past the censorship committee.

Looks like, if he is quoted correctly, Walker is a turncoat.
The relatively very few òut of at least a million ralliers, led and incited by antifa plants wearing Trump hats and carrying flags, that were actually let into the Capitol, haven’t anything to do with President Trump’s legacy.
He specifically called for peace.
If any officials were to be blamed it was the Capitol police in charge, who were very, very unprepared, likely, it looks planned. Even officers who would normally be there, to their dismay, were kept away.

Not much matters, now that Biden's inauguration is planned to take place. They think they already got what they want, so they can afford to seem a bit more unbiased.
The articular had Walker approving of the Congress for certifying Biden. That was the leftist talking point.
Congress actually let the Capitol invasion completely change their course of action, which is the opposite of the Wisconsin legislators, who were undeterred, and carried out their duty. They did there duty undeterred, without acting out of fear, intimidation, or out of any other emotional basis.
The Republicans who let the leftist staged Capitol invasion change the course of their duty are unworthy, easily broken turncoats. They most certainly didn't carry out their duty. The invasion had nothing to do with their already laid out plan, to let the states, who had new, important information, reexamine their electoral decisions.
It is quite obvious that the Capitol invasion was a ploy to give them an out, to do that which was wrong.

Heck, Bill Ayers BOMBED the Capitol, but that didn’t stop Obama from buddying up with him.

And in 1968, a nationally-known activist was planning to bring millions to a Washington D.C. tent encampment to shut down the city until demands were met for, among other things, justice and a guaranteed annual income. Free money.

Those plans were derailed by events which eventually placed the activist, actually a monument of the activist, on the mall.

Jimmy Carter released the Five Puerto Ricans who shot up the Capitol and wounded 5 Congressmen.

And the Smithsonian has art praising them as Freedom Fighters.

Yeah....not many articles like this pre-election. Now that power is cemented into the Left’s hands, there acan be some token crumbs scraped off the table to the political Right.
