Why can’t new presidents look at a economy and say it ain’t broke so I am not touching it. Right now they just need to let companies open back up and hang on for another year or so..
The problem Democrats don’t understand is that the owners of a lot of businesses that closed or downsized because of Covid are not going to put more of their money into expanding/reopening if the government increases business taxes or mandates, such as a higher minimim wage.
Why can’t it all be just left alone? Why do we need a constant stream of new laws? How can anyone plan or do business with a near constantly shifting tax and regulatory setting? They can’t really. They do so in spite of the giverment and not because of it.
Our nation sucks and sucks worse every day.
