The Left, if they were serious would push a billionaires tax to confiscate all individual wealth over $1B. I mean, no one needs more than a billion dollars, right?

They’ll never do this because they’re run by the billionaire elites like Bezos. They only promise unless class warfare as fodder for getting votes. Like in 1984, it’s an endless war against enemies which is never concluded and never won, because it serves as a distraction to the public.

You are right, their billionaire owners will be left alone while small business owners will be utterly destroyed. They are suffering through a pandemic and this piece of sh— Biden is talking about stomping them down further with a $15 minimum wage hike.

Can you imagine owning a restaurant where you already get NO customers and you got 10 employees and now you have to come up with $150 dollars EVERY HOUR just to pay them, never mind the rent, the energy bills, the maintenance, the insurance, the food costs, the equipment and meanwhile the effin state is telling you that you can’t have any customers or a very limited amount. It’s impossible to do business

“Soak the rich” did not work in 1935, under FDR’s New Deal, and it won’t work today.

It is impossible to tax wealth beyond the first attempt at confiscation. Beyond that, the very wealthy simply hide their wealth in ways the tax collector cannot touch.

The rich won’t miss any meals.
