Just my opinion, but shouldn’t they lock down the Aunt Teefers and BLMers? Might be a good idea.
I think I read that alot of the SRT teams are part of the “security” build up in the capital.
So they locked the prisons down to try a prevent any unrest.
So as a contrast, I volunteer in my church’s state prison ministry and I was there just today...our state isn’t even as much as considering such a Rediculous move.

My understanding is, prisoners are “locked down” at night. This only means they are all in their cells. Otherwise, prison is similar to public school. (Too similar, if you ask me.) You get to go to the cafeteria, the gym, the yard, etc.
Locking them down probably means a huge amount of overtime for their already small staffs. Someone will need to take meals to each prisoner’s cell. Then they’ll have to collect those trays. There will be a lot of guard abuse as the prisoners will be upset. I knew a guard and he said prisoners threw feces. If they’re angry you won’t make your rounds without getting smeared. Probably, a lot of guards will quit if this goes on long.
There are usually not enough prison workers to handle a riot if one breaks out. There used to be, but then budget cuts came...again, and again, and again. The guards for
Epstein had worked significant overtime, probably contributing to them being asleep rather than checking on him as required. (I suspect this was on purpose. If he did kill himself, there was a lot of “help.”)

One would think so. Apparently its a term that means they are locked in their cells and not loitering in the yard beating the ever-loving crap out of each other or working in the shop fashioning weapons or what have you.
I’m at a loss how these prisoners thousands of miles away would have any connection whatsoever with Biden’s installation. It almost seems like they keep finding new angles on their propaganda.
