CNN anchor Jake Tapper took a veiled shot at Fox News during a Sunday morning discussion about media polarization with former national security advisor H.R. McMaster.

McMaster and Tapper were discussing President Donald Trump’s impeachment for inciting the January 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol. After McMaster expressed his belief that the president was largely responsible and shouldn’t consider running again in 2024, he went on to lament the media’s role in the current political divide.

Have any of these morons read Brandeburg v. Ohio, 395 U.S. 444 (1969)? Not one element in the criminal statute of “inciting violence” is satisfied by President Trump’s words, as were given during his speech of 6 January 2021, at the Save America rally.

Then there is the factual evidence that the rioters arrived at the Capitol at least 20 minutes before Trump had finished speaking.

Then there is the new evidence that the attacks were planned weeks before the rally was to take place.

Of course, these opportunistic and mostly cowardly jackasses within the establishment GOP are fully aware of the above stated facts. They just want Trump out because he is an existential threat to their continued practice of gaming the American people into believing there are two distinct political parties.

They apparently think that the 75+ million Americans who voted to re-elect Trump are going to forget their treachery, and continue go along with the GOPe’s bullsh*t.

They are in for a very rude awakening.
