A Kentucky nurse who was fired after admitting she entered the U.S. Capitol during last week’s violent insurrection says she’d do it all over again.
Lori Vinson, of Morganfield, Kentucky, told WFIE she’s glad she attended the Jan. 6 riot because it’s a moment she’ll remember 30 years from now.
“People have asked, ‘Are you sorry you’ve done that?’” Vinson said. “Absolutely I am not. I am not sorry for that, I would do it again tomorrow.”
After the unrest, Vinson said she was fired from her nursing job at Ascension St. Vincent in Evansville, Indiana, on Jan. 8.
Despite being unemployed, she said she has no regrets.
“I was there for a peaceful protest and that’s what I was doing,” she told the outlet. “I felt like I have done nothing wrong and I wouldn’t change it.”
The nurse added she felt like a tourist at the Capitol, claiming that police didn’t stop the crowd from entering the building.
“The doors were open, people were filing through, there were no signs that said, ‘Do not enter,’” she told WZTV. “There were no cops saying, ‘Don’t come in.’”
Vinson claimed the FBI contacted her but that she hasn’t been charged with any federal crimes yet.

not a riot
what blm/antifa does is rioting
these people stayed within velvet ropes inside the building
since when does antifa/blm do that? they burned police stations down
they burned buildings down
with firearms and other weapons took over entire neighborhoods and barricaded them off
Good for her. What does it say when a woman who actually has something to lose, has more testicular fortitude than every male member of Congress? These people deserve our support.
I am certain if Attorney General Bill (Bagpipes) Barr was still AG, he would be talking about prosecuting those who attended the rally. He was steadily becoming more and more bold when it came to speaking out against what his boss believed.
“Lori Vinson, of Morganfield, Kentucky”
She sounds like a strong woman. I hope she knows that a lot of people out here support her and wish her well.
It was a hoot!
Corruption full force within own Government! Disgusting!
It’s not clear from the article but it seems to indicate she did enter the Capitol building.
The DEMOCRATS, ANTIFA, AND BLM have been stealing and burning the publics businesses and throughout cities for the last 6 months.......as usual this behavior doesn’t get stopped until politicians themselves are “afraid”.............then it’s criminal!
woops forgot link
I don’t know what point she entered but my natural instinct in seeing breaking doors and windows down, shouts of let’s burn this down and hang pence... would have been way more than enough for me to not have entered.
It’s a large building. She may not have heard any of that.
I wonder for how long a time frame did the guards allow people to enter the building, were the guards still turning people back by the time she reached the doors?
Has no relevance in her case...the cops talked just minutes with her and said they wouldn’t be back...end of story....Her beef now is with her employer. I don’t think the hospital appreciated that she posted videos of herself in the capital on line in the middle of a riot.
She was posting videos of the event on line while she was in the building so there is that. Which is why she lost her job...the hospital saw those.
The hospital would would appreciated it if she posted videos of herself in a BLM riot.
