My daughter read the book about Anne Frank in 5th grade or so. She then got all into the Holocaust and gave a report on it. Her classmates called her a liar “How could one man kill 8 million people!!??” (Okay they were only 5th grade. And the teacher did back up my daughter.)
I think they were taught about the Holocaust in 7th or 8th grade.
Seeing as I liken modern-day liberals to the Nazis, I can see why they wouldn’t want to teach about the Holocaust.
We see so many parallels today.
Neighbors/children ratting out on their neighbors/parents.
People and businesses being “cancelled” due to their beliefs. ETC.
