Well, Biden went from Mr. Unity and Bipartisanship to shoving a very in-your-face, no-compromise, my-way-or-the-highway immigration bill right off the bat.
I can’t imagine this has any real chance in its current form described here. This isn’t like Obama with health care in 2009, their majorities are way too narrow, they’re going to have to add border security and other concessions to have any chance of it passing.
They have plenty of Bush League Republican Senators already lined up to pass it.
They have spent their careers in pursuit of another amnesty and a permanent majority for Democrats.
GOP can run the floor with moderate Dems, 20 are in districts where PT won. Biden will have no honeymoon.
