In WA State, the State Dept. of Health is in charge of setting Covid-19 vaccination rules and policies. Then they tell the County Health Departments to go implement with not much further guidance or help. The County Health Dept’s set up vaccination clinics and hire or arrange for staffing, and the County approves or not medical clinic and pharmacy applications to perform vaccination.
This marvelous system has been capable of vaccinating about 1/3 of the people it should have. That is 2/3 of the vaccine shipped to the State is in warehouse refrigeration waiting to be used.
So, what is going on in this State? The Governor is screaming that the Trump Administration lied to the state about sending the vaccine reserves. He wants the warehouses to be even fuller (opps he didn't say that, but everyone knows that would be the outcome.)
So now Biden is going to come in and use FEMA and the national guard to organize and run vaccination centers.
Had Trump tried that, our Democratic hack Attorney General and Governor would have been the first to tell Trump “no thanks” and would have tried to get a court injunction. What will they do with Biden's plan?
Time will tell.
We don’t need the national guard to build clinics. Within a mile of me, there are numerous pharmacies, medical clinics, schools, and community centers that could be used. Joe is just trying to be a hero, typical of his laughably macho tendencies.
Should I buy a supply of body bags, or will they bring their own?
