Deputy Chief Medical Officer Predicts Brits ‘Choosing’ to Mask Forever, Regular Vaccines

Deputy Chief Medical Officer Jonathan Van-Tam has predicted people may “choose” to mask up forever, as well as regular rounds of vaccination, as the coronavirus “is likely to be with us probably for the foreseeable future”.

“The pandemic has changed a lot of things,” the technocrat said in response to a question put to him by The Sun newspaper.

“We all carry hand sanitiser around now, we all expect in most of the places we go into that hand sanitiser is provided at the door,” he said by way of example.

If the muzzles work, why TF is communist China having huge new outbreaks and lockdowns?

I hate these muzzle cultists with the fiery passion of a thousand suns.

People. JUST STOP WEARING THE DAMN MUZZLES!

And that’s it, isn’t it.

When you wear a muzzle, your oxygen intake is reduced by 8-10%, everything your body exhales including small amounts of spittle, are caught in the mask and you breathe in what your body doesn’t want.

The immune system doesn’t get a workout so you become more vulnerable to disease when the mask is removed.

The body cannot become immune to something it’s not exposed to so when the mask finally comes off, a weakened immune system means you’re going to get sick which produces more calls for everyone to wear a mask.

But then, it’s never been about the virus. It’s all about control.

I had damn covid and it wasn’t that bad. I still have to wear a mask because I supposedly can still get it and pass it on to someone’s grandparents.

Wowser - for a virus that has a less than 0.2% lethality rate and primarily hits people past the age of 65.

What if you gave a pandemic and nobody died.

It's insanity - seriously, our world has gone completely insane.

Not trying to be flip and minimize the legit tragedies of people dying from Corona or deny that it happens - just that it is not like the Influenza epidemic of a century ago where entire families were wiped out.

We are seeing the Stalinist meme that one death is a tragedy but a million deaths is a statistic. - only in reverse.

The death toll of this virus is low enough that people freak out over the media hype of infrequent and random serious illness or death rather than become inured to the mass suffering and death like we would see in a truly serious pandemic.

Worse, this covid thing has went on long enough that it is developing a constituency as many people in and out of government have a vested interest in continuation of the Covid -19 status quo.

One part is excuse to justify and impose a draconian authoritarian control strangle hold populations.

The other is that well connected individuals are making a fortune on the virus despite the fact that the draconian measures are sucking the life out our economy

The various ill considered virus response measures are becoming some bizarre combination of Reichstag Fire and Mohair subsidy.

And these measures are so destructive and disproportionate to the actual risks involved that are literally driving people crazy and destabilizing societies world wide.

We seem to be entering a perfect storm of neurotic anxiety and collective insanity

Well the Brits just closed their borders again, and if you go there you have to pay for a covid test at the border.

Heck I watched a video of a small town in Russia who dug a trench around their town to keep the tourists out of there because of covid....thus only one entry point.

Nothing that radical about this. I’ve been carrying hand sanitiser and using it as a matter of course since a swine flu scare about 10 years ago - it’s always seemed to me common sense to clean your hands after touching frequently-used public surfaces such as door handles in stores etc. As for masks - whatever the rights and wrongs of their effectiveness, regularly wearing them in public as a matter of personal choice has been quite common in some Asian countries for many years.
What does seem crazy to me about public behaviour at the moment is that so many people are diligently wearing masks, but not taking the slightest care over their hands.

Masks were mainly worn in Asian countries due to AIR POLLUTION.

At least in Communist China (and Singapore, thanks to all the lovely Indonesian haze from burning Palm Plantations).

OCD hygiene, disinfection, and germophobia is NOT helpful, unless you are immunocompromised.

I have NEVER carried around a bottle of hand sanitizer for constant use in general public settings and never will.

Incidentally, I am an RN working in a specialty field of critical care and fully understand principles of infection control.

I really wish schools taught people how our own damn bodies work.

And I have no interest whatsoever in adopting the Asian muzzle cultural affectation. Not sorry.

Brits also chose to accept muzzie invaders. Look how that’s working out for them.
