The problem is that the public seems to be swallowing the false flag propaganda: "MAGA terrorists brought nooses to the Capitol to hang Mike Pence." Even worse, there was a mixture of agent-provocateurs and MAGA loyalists, a few of whom believed that Pence had become a traitor. I expect to see news reports of those people soon. I think that was still a false flag operation and a planned ambush in every sense of the word, but it will be presented to the public as "Trump misled his followers."
If Pence had rejected the electoral votes? The deep state planners were probably ready for that too.
