A left-wing activist who told Fox News last week that he’d followed a pro-Trump mob into the Capitol in order to "document" the siege is now the subject of a criminal complaint in connection with his alleged participation, according to the Justice Department.
John Sullivan can allegedly be heard egging on protesters in video he provided to the FBI, according to a federal criminal complaint. He has also shared the video to his YouTube and Twitter accounts under the pseudonym Jayden X.
He was charged Thursday in federal court in Washington, D.C. after being arrested by the FBI. He remains in custody in Toeele County, in his home state of Utah, on a U.S. Marshals Service hold request.

He probably won't be staying in prison very long. I worked 25 years in uniform in NY State's prisons. They'll let him plea down to a lower charge. Hardly anybody these days does the time for the actual crimes they commit. It's one of the problems of the criminal justice system. Everybody gets a deal, except the victims.

These people are looking a federal time. The feds don’t deal like the states and they don’t reduce sentences.

I pointed that out weeks ago when I posted that this Jan 6 rally in DC was a bad idea, Trump was making a mistake. There would be violence and MAGA would get blamed. I predicted all of that - an easy prediction - but I didn’t imagine the scale and scope of the blame and the vengeance that would come down on Trumps supporters
