I actually still play a little of WoW, but only about 1% of the time I used to.
As a matter of fact, I have a friend in South Africa, friends that are a whole family in Vancouver, and other friends that are family in New Zealand; we all built a guild together and have been close friends since then.
We’ve all known each other more than a decade, and still keep in touch, nut moving here from Japan has screwed up the normal time zones that we all used to play :/
I’ve never played an online game...on purpose.
*Once*, not knowing what it was, I played “Internet Checkers” and had no idea somebody else somewhere was doing the other moves until they ‘said’ something to me after the game was over.
I squeaked and slammed that thing shut and now I delete ALL the “internet” games immediately, when I reinstall an OS.
