his point that Pakistan accepts India even though they are, for all intents and purposes, at war... is quite valid.
his point that a change in government (such as by another coup) could result in a breach of any treaties... is certainly accurate.
his point that any thinking (or honest) Muslim should follow Allah’s express instructions that he (Allah, their god) has given the land to the Jewish people, is correct (See Koran Chapters/Suras 5, 17, and as I recall 25)
his point that relations and trade would benefit Pakistan is also right. Normal peaceful relations between nations usually do, and should, benefit both countries.
It will be interesting to see if Pakistan does the right thing now, after all these years of hostility, denial, and self-inflicted wounds. Hopefully so!
The critical military importance of Pakistan to Saudi Arabia (which borders Saudi arch-enemy Iran), may be a reason for the Saudis to delay recognition of Israel, until they can be confident that it won’t damage relations with Pakistan.
