“There is a time when the operation of the machine becomes so odious, makes you so sick at heart, that you can’t take part; you can’t even passively take part, and you’ve got to put your bodies upon the gears and upon the wheels, upon the levers, upon all the apparatus, and you’ve got to make it stop. And you’ve got to indicate to the people who run it, to the people who own it, that unless you’re free, the machine will be prevented from working at all!”
–Mario Savio

Driving the other night, this came on the radio (I rarely listen to the radio these days; really only the Christmas music when it was 24/7).
That being said, I haven’t forgotten what Roger Waters is.

I think that the Western states need to make it difficult for federal employees to work in their respective states. More traffic tickets, state tax audits, rescinding the right for federal law enforcement to enforce state laws, passing anti-commandeering laws are currently the most effective and practical for resisting unconstitutional federal laws. It allows states to thwart federal law enforcement in a state by refusing to provide them with necessary assistance.
Americans are slave to the international collective. They take money from us and redistribute it to every country in the world. They steal what they can all the time bleeding America of her wealth.

There is a time for peace and a time for war.
“I think that the Western states need to make it difficult for federal employees to work in their respective states.”
You mean western states like California, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, Colorado?
You’re stuck in the 1980s.
There is a time for massive peaceful protest marches too. A majority of the people in this country haven’t been disenfranchised yet. If you include children, there is a substantial majority who haven’t been censored or targeted yet. They haven’t felt the sting yet and are ignorant of what’s happening. The odds are much longer now but this approach worked in the 60s.
I wonder what Mario, a 60s Berkeley radical, would have to say about the anti free speech movement of today. Which side would he be on.
Regardless, that is what we’re missing on our side today - a firebrand impassionate activist, courageous leader to inspire and morph us sheep into head busting rams.
“Mario Savio was an American activist and a key member in the Berkeley Free Speech Movement. He is most famous for his passionate speeches, especially the “put your bodies upon the gears” address given at Sproul Hall, University of California, Berkeley on December 2, 1964.”

And when they kill the cash machine called “America” the party will come to a sudden stop.
Should be fun times.
I know who Mario Savio was with his Free Speech movement at UC Bezerkely. but who was Roger Waters and what was he well known for?
You are absolutely right! You watch this and your heart pounds, your eyes well up, you’re ready. This is exactly what we need.

In Oregon, there’s going to be another recall petition on Brown. We were only 1% short during the covid breakout. Also many are for ending mail in voting. The liberals are in 3 counties only.
Here’s another short video worth watching. (maybe you’ve seen it already)
It truly shows how much the left has changed. We’ve done a 180.
