My question as well. When I got fired for some BS excuse (the real reason being was because I had a lot of accumulated vacation time which was attractive to steal), I took their little phony excuse paper, partially ripped it and walked out the door.

The ex-boss followed me and told me he needed the paper back for their files. I turned around, glowered at him and said "come and get it!"

He didn't.

They are minimizing his role at PBS. He is now a “former employee”. Well, yes, he is now. And a mere “mid-level” attorney in the organization, at that. Cripes, how many levels of attorneys do they have at that place?
