possibility 1 - staff reduced their cleaning / PPE protocols once the vaccine was widely administered

Possibility 2 - the vaccine creates a yet undocumented response that can trigger other underlying conditions to worsen

others

Could be anything really.

Just a good guess here.......improper handling of the vaccine.

Pfizer needs to store at sub zero temps unless it’s going to be used within 24 hours. Otherwise the vaccine will be spoiled.

If this is the case, whoever thought of the wonderful idea of giving nursing home staff such a sensitive vaccine is an idiot.

Typically those places are plagued by treatment/medication errors, under paid, under trained staffed.

It could mean a vaccine issue, but more likely, it is either because they brought all those people together for the vaccination, or because people let down their guard and changed their behavior.
