Things seem to be working backwards at The Commons on St. Anthony nursing home in Auburn, New York. Vaccinating people is supposed to reduce or end coronavirus deaths. Right? But, at The Commons, such deaths are reported to have occurred only after residents began receiving coronavirus vaccinations.
James T. Mulder wrote Saturday at syracuse.com that until December 29 there had been no coronavirus deaths at The Commons. December 29, when deaths of residents with coronavirus began occurring at The Commons, is also, Mulder’s article discloses, seven days days after the nursing home began giving coronavirus vaccinations to residents, with 80 percent of residents so far having been vaccinated.
Over a period of less than two weeks since December 29, Mulder relates that 24 coronavirus-infected residents at the 300-bed nursing home have died.
Is the timing just a strange coincidence?
Read Mulder’s article here.
This is the penultimate paragraph of Mulder’s article, where vaccinations at The Commons is mentioned:
The nursing home began vaccinating residents Dec. 22. So far 193 residents, or 80%, and 113 employees, or less than half the staff, have been vaccinated. The nursing home plans to do more vaccinations Jan. 12.

what are they dying from?
Someone who was infected came in and infected others?
I mean, that was the reason for every other spike in nursing home deaths. I don’t know why this would be different. Or why these residents would all suddenly drop dead of a vaccine that 29 million other people got safely.
Could be anything really.
Just a good guess here.......improper handling of the vaccine.
Pfizer needs to store at sub zero temps unless it’s going to be used within 24 hours. Otherwise the vaccine will be spoiled.
If this is the case, whoever thought of the wonderful idea of giving nursing home staff such a sensitive vaccine is an idiot.
Typically those places are plagued by treatment/medication errors, under paid, under trained staffed.
Amen, Brutha.
Rona!
Being vaccinated doesn’t mean you won’t get the virus- it just means that it will be less severe from what i understand- could be that the nursing home didn’t have a wave go through the facility before getting the vaccines, but did have one after, some folks may have gotten the virus in the early stages of the vaccine, before it took effect possibly?
Exactly, correlation DOES NOT = causation.
possibility 4 - a covid outbreak was already underway when vaccines were administered

[[Exactly, correlation DOES NOT = causation.]]
It does in liberal land- just look at the ‘man-caused’ climate change lie-
Possibly. It would be the height of irony if the person administering the vaccine was a super spreader...
Do you think for a second that we will find out about all the side effects of the vaccine the same way every covid case was tracked on the front pages of every news source?
The exact same cause/effect argument could be used for covid itself, with the fact that 94% of “covid” deaths were covid + an average of 2.6 comorbidities. Just because those 96% had covid when they died doesn’t ben they died from covid. 160K die every year from “chronic lower respiratory diseases” every year, well, except for 2020!
This isn't about math. This is about logic. Everyone who has ever died did so after breathing oxygen, drinking water, and blinking. That does not mean that breathing oxygen causes death. Nor does it mean that drinking water causes death. Nor does blinking cause death.
Temporal proximity to an event is circumstantial only. There is no causal link being established here. Nor will there be. Your ask is for us to assume that the other 29 million people who've gotten a COVID-19 vaccine are all fine, but these nursing home residents all died from it. What made these people so special in your view that everyone else is fine and these people all died? And where exactly is your evidence of an actual causal association? All you have here is circumstantial evidence and insinuation. No facts. No logic. No reason.
"Like the US death rate and numbers being the same in 2020 as 2019 and 2018"
So tired of this Alex Jones nonsense. I just got done dealing with this nonsense claim before.
Were the deaths higher among those who HAD been vaccinated, or among those who hadn’t?
One possibility is that the vaccination makes people mildly contagious while their immunity builds, but that seems unlikely.
I'd say death is pretty severe, but that's just me...
All of them (except possibly B) are wrong conclusions.
The vaccines currently available require 2 doses for full effectiveness. After the first dose, it takes ~8 days to achieve 45% effectiveness in preventing COVID-19. 30 days after the first dose is given, a second dose is given. ~8 days after that dose (and this is from memory so maybe it's 10 days, but whatever), a 95% effectiveness against COVID-19 is achieved.
These residents had only had one dose.
Start investigating when the other 29 million people who’ve gotten the exact same vaccines show any signs of this being anything other than the exact same outbreak that’s been happening at elderly care facilities in literally every single country on Earth.
