Trump to Reporters at White House: 'What I Said Was Totally Appropriate', Calls for "No Violence"

President Donald Trump on Tuesday addressed the social media censorship and his Twitter accounts being deleted following the breach at the U.S. Capitol last week.

“People thought that what I said was totally appropriate,” Trump told reporters in response to the Big Tech backlash for his speech on Jan. 6 to protesters. “We want no violence … absolutely no violence,” he said.

He made the remarks to reporters at the White House ahead of his departure to Alamo, Texas—the first public comments to reporters since he delivered a speech to protesters near the Capitol on Jan. 6.

The president also warned that the House Democratic-led impeachment inquiry is leading to “tremendous anger” across the United States, adding that it will trigger “tremendous danger to our country.”

“People thought that what I said was totally appropriate and if you look at what other people have said, politicians at a high level, about the riots in the summer, the horrible riots in Portland and Seattle and various other places, that was the real problem,” Trump remarked. He pointed to speeches and rhetoric by various political leaders across the country as fomenting more discord and incitement across the United States.

The president also argued that companies like Google, Twitter, and Facebook will fail due to censorship.

Big Tech is “doing a horrible thing to our country. … And I believe it’s going to be a catastrophic mistake for them,” Trump also remarked.

Following Trump’s speech, which was condemned by a number of politicians—with some claiming Trump incited violence and calling for his resignation or impeachment—Twitter deleted the president’s account. A large number of pro-Trump accounts were also deleted by Twitter and Facebook.

As users attempted to flee to Parler and other social media websites, Amazon Web Services suspended its service with Parler on Monday morning, triggering a lawsuit

Isn’t it interesting that the entire MSM are staying on their idiotic script against President Trump.

The suspicion is that she was killed by a black, and that is why the shooter’s identity is being kept a very tight secret. Had the shooter been white, and the victim black, the shooter’s ID would have been made public within a half hour of the incident, and he or she would be getting doxxed, his or her families harassed, and their lived made a living hell.

DC elites seem to think they can get ahead by pretending there was no fraud, just as they have pretended all along there was no corruption.

About half the country can see this is all a big lie, and the other half don’t want trouble and will swallow any lie if it gives them handouts and an easy ride.

So the corruption has spread to half the population. The only answer to that seems to be partition, as the halves are not randomly distributed on the map, but clustered as anyone can see from election results.

Elites are hoping we will get tired of opposing and give in. This is why we need to figure out better political strategies and double down in our resolve to fight on, with political weapons that can work. It’s either a new party or a Republican Party controlled by its voter base, the current model, leave it to Beavis and Butthead and trust their judgement? Not so much.

Duh! Print what he actually said, not a misleading portion of his sentence.

He actually said “People thought that what I said was totally inappropriate.”

Well, lots of people thought he was a dictator too. Do you see a difference between “People said I was a dictator” and “I was a dictator.”

Someone please tell me exactly what Trump did? I do not understand. He said nothing like Pelosi, Waters, Pressley and Kamala. THEY incited riots. NOT Trump. Remember when kamala said-”protestors should not let up” and pelosi said “there should be rioting in the streets” and presley said “ there needs to be unrest in the streets” and waters saying her thing about “chase them out of restaurants and shops”? THAT is inciting riots. and riot blm and antifa did. Just following their orders. Throw them in jail or make dems resign.
