Flaw in your logic. If ‘random, in passing, casual contacts when out shopping’ do not result in infections, how would those involved in those ‘casual contacts’ become infected to bring the virus home?

I don’t know why you assume it was in casual contact from which they got the infection that they brought home.

It could have been at work or in some other setting with close contact and close contact over some sustained period of time. But, according to the data it was then in the home that was the great multiplier.

We had it one of our relatives families. Mother or father got it thru work most likely - she a healthcare worker, he running a small general minimart kind of store - but as soon as one had it, the other adult and the two kids followed right after that, in spite of the 1st adult attempting to self-isolate in one of the bedrooms; from one case to four, in the home, through contact in the home. That is consistent with the data collected in the largest contact tracing study anyone has done. Home contact was the single largest 1st source.
