(Title):" Biden Treasury Secretary Must Respect Financial Privacy "

Tell that to the 'Tea Party' and their encounter with Lois Learner.

The Biden administration should work to ensure that this shady behavior so prevalent in the Obama administration ceases altogether, and the Senate needs to extract some pledges to that effect during the confirmation hearings over the next few weeks

Political humor should be left to the Babylon Bee.

“Must”? They are laughing at the idea they “must” do anything. Who is this idiot? Does he know the government has been seized in a coup?
They have the house, the senate, the presidency, and a working majority on the supreme court (Yes, including Amy Conehead Barrett)

All they “must” do is anything they please. Wake up.

I didn’t read anything past the title. Did you?

Is this guy series?

Seriesly, this isn’t any kind of reasonable proposal considering Bath House will be directing China Jo and Side Ho Harris and the aim of the democraps and our Technocrat Overlords is to scrape as much information as they possibly can until they can chip us all;

Unless, of course, he just means don’t look at or tell on Big Democraps Taking Foreign Payoffs And Selling Out Americans.

We lost financial privacy long ago thanks to the income tax, laws and regs empowering the IRS, and banking laws and regs that make it nearly impossible to do private banking. We can’t even deposit and withdraw our own money in any amounts we want without being reported to the feds. Yes, yes, I know. That’s supposedly to prevent money laundering, but politicians and their enablers are the biggest money launderers on the planet while we peons don’t have genuine freedom to manage our bank accounts as we see fit.

Could this be Biden's shot at the anti-moneylaundering regulation Steve Mnuchin is tryig to pass which would affect Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey's other company known as Square - a "crypto-wallet" payment company which deals in cryptocurrency?

The agency would require personal information from the owner of the private wallet if the amount sent from a crypto exchange is greater than $10,000 in 24 hours. It would also require crypto exchanges keep records for transactions valued at over $3,000.

Square’s Jack Dorsey Hits Out at FinCEN’s ‘Burdensome’ Proposed Crypto Wallet Rules

At regular banks, similar personal information is required for cash transactions of $10,000.00.
