I like the idea of DC being flooded with troops for the installation; between that, the lack of a concession speech, and the fact that the President will not be attending, it makes it even more clear that this was a coup - and there will be photographic evidence 100 years from now.
The Capitol protestors wanted to make sure the theft didn’t go unnoticed/unchallenged; they succeeded.

The cancel culture is turning the dial up to the max. Be smart on inauguration day - stay home and watch online if you wish. I won't - I'd prefer not to wretch. I suspect that the totalitarians will have false-flag operations running. The goal is to avoid them.
If you want to protest, fine. Pick a later day, find people you know and can trust to be nonviolent, go and have a short, small, peaceful protest. Be polite and kind to any police who show up and obey their requests. Then go home. This is what nonviolent protests look like.
