For one thing, just take a look at the 2022 Senate map and ask yourself which five seats — or even TWO seats — the GOP will pick up. There are more Republican than Democrat seats being contested, and as of now the only two retiring incumbents are Republicans (North Carolina and Pennsylvania).
I hate to break it to you, but the odds are far greater for the DEMOCRATS to pick up five seats.
Karl Rove will pop up right on schedule with his whiteboard to explain to you why you must vote for incumbent Republicans, and that challenging them in the primaries is a losing move. And Hannity will call him the architect, and everyone will follow him because his advice was crucial to Trump’s winning a second term, and the wins in the two Georgia senate runoffs.
I feel like I’m forgetting something here....
Redistricting will not help GOP. If they do it to benefit their party, it will be stopped by a 14-2 vote in the Supreme Court.
Nobody is going to watching either one of the guys you mentioned. This may sound bizarre, but whenever I hear the names “Sean Hannity” or “Karl Rove” I picture them in my mind the way they looked on TV 8-10 years ago — because that really is how long it’s been since I’ve seen either one of them on TV.

Being convicted of a felony isn’t a disqualifier from becoming president. Eugene Debs ran for president from his prison cell in Terre Haute while serving the time for his felony conviction.
They would have to impeach him in the House, convict him in the Senate, (all before Biden gets sworn in) and then add the additional disqualification. They’ll never get the 67 votes, so the issue of the other is moot.
