Psychological operations officer Rainey: ‘I am a private citizen’.
The army is investigating a psychological operations officer who led a group of people from North Carolina to the rally in Washington that led up to the deadly riot in the US Capitol by supporters of Donald Trump.
Commanders at Fort Bragg are reviewing Capt Emily Rainey’s involvement in last week’s events in the nation’s capital, but she said she acted within military regulations and that no one in her group broke the law.
Police arrest man who carried Pelosi lectern and horned Capitol intruder Read more “I was a private citizen and doing everything right and within my rights,” Rainey told the Associated Press on Sunday.
Rainey said she led 100 members of Moore County Citizens for Freedom, which describes itself online as a non-partisan network promoting conservative values, to Washington to “stand against election fraud” and support Trump. She said the group attended the rally but she didn’t know of anyone who entered the Capitol and that they were headed back to their buses hours before an emergency curfew took effect.
Rainey, 30, is assigned to the 4th Psychological Operations Group at Fort Bragg, according to Maj Daniel Lessard, a spokesman for 1st Special Forces Command. Known as Psyops, the group uses information and misinformation to shape the emotions, decision-making and actions of American adversaries.
Rainey made headlines in May after she posted a video online of her pulling down caution tape at a playground that was closed under North Carolina’s Covid-19 restrictions.

As you well know, in today’s politicized army they will find nothing on you yet still string you up regardless.
“To set an example” or some such BS.
I should correct and caveat that:
If your personal politics aren’t to their liking they will smear you as much as they can.
If you’re Spenser Rapone they fight yo keep you and grudgingly deep six you after a period of time if the noise agai st you is enough.
Capitol protest bump for later.....
Yep.
Surprised they didn’t ask her if she thought this “storming the capital” antifa led attack, was in fact psyops seeing she is involved in psyops.
Even with Trump as CIC,every intelligence and law enforcement agency has been absolutely worthless.
According to another story, here, she didn't resign over this. She had resigned some time ago because she received something called a letter of reprimand over due to other activities. Reading between the lines it may have been her continuous breaking of local laws closing a playground. So she was already on her way out when she attended the demonstrations in Washington.
There was no riot in Washington. It was just a ‘Mostly Peaceful Protest’ to use a phrase that the democrats coined.
She took her out of control screaming brats to a playground to blow of steam during the time of the Rona! Strip her of her rank and drum her out of the corpse [sic]
The purge. Capitol Hill police sympathetic to Trump are being investigated.
Notice how they haven’t found anyone who supposedly threw a fire extinguisher at a cop.
Any officer with any integrity has to be looking at the exit. You can’t swear to defend the Constitution and deny election fraud at the same time.
She attended University of Scranton... She was in the ROTC program..
This lady has one young son...There is no mention of her being married to the father of her son... She speaks Arabic...

She was also on the college basketball team...

Good luck to her in the future... I think that she protested against COVID restrictions, in North Carolina, knowing that she might have to resign from military... That was her choice...She really felt strongly about those COVID restrictions... She will have to explain why she resigned from military to her potential employers... There should be some employers who would be willing to hire her?
If that is true then I respect her for having the courage of her convictions.

She kept on removing yellow tapes from the playground equipment...Police officers finally gave her a ticket...
I am thinking that she knew what she was doing...I am sure she knew that her commanding officer would not be happy about her getting a citation...
Being a captain in the US Army is not the same as being some cashier in Walmart...Giving up on the career in the Army to protest Covid restrictions...I do not understand her decision making process...She has a very young son...I don’t think she is married...She will have to work to support herself and her son...
However, I do understand that we live in a free country...She has every right to quit her job in the US Army...
