As we know, China has already managed to buy GE Appliances. Originally the GE made a deal with Eletrolux but China complained to the Obama administration (probably through Cockadile Hunter) and the DOJ blocked the deal. To compensate they paid GE 5 billion versus the 3 billion offered by Electrolux.
