Controversial Chapman University law professor John Eastman appeared on stage with President Trump’s personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani at a “Stop the Steal” rally on Jan. 6, where they urged his supporters to head to the Capitol.
In response, over 150 Chapman faculty members signed onto a letter calling on the university to fire Eastman.

Capitulation, knuckling under, kowtowing and prostration in 3,...2,...
Go ahead and fire him for exercising First Amendment rights. He’ll be able to found his own law school with the award he gets from his lawsuit.
Amazing how tenure can be breached if there is the right incentive...
If any one wondered what it would be like under a one party/ mono-culture rule, the last 7 days are it. Wonder no more.
Go ahead and fire him for exercising First Amendment rights. He’ll be able to found his own law school with the award he gets from his lawsuit.

The legal system is broken and now fully politicized. If you get a Dem judge, you lose.
Professor Eastman is great! He’s been a regular guest on Bannon’s WarRoom and a wonderful legal resource w/regard to explaining why the disputed certifications of electors should have been sent back to their respective state legislatures for debate and resolution.
Alas, VP Pence negated that course of action and totally mischaracterized what the president and his legal advisors had asked him to do!
No joke. Firing a top-notch constitutional attorney for exercising their constitutionally guaranteed freedoms is not a smart business decision.
Just my .02
Well, since e this is apparently legal,, then How about a whole bunch of conservative businesses and schools start firing anyone who has ever posted support for democrat presidents?
Go ahead and fire him for exercising First Amendment rights. He’ll be able to found his own law school with the award he gets from his lawsuit.

Chapman University is a private Christian school...Not a public school...I think First Amendment deals with government punishing people for free speech...
I don’t know if the Professor could sue for First Amendment violations if he were to get fired...I am not sure about that...

Don’t be too hasty to condemn them. From the article, it sounds like the university has already stood their ground and refused to fire him.
“The manual allows for the termination of faculty who are disbarred, however, that is not the case today,” Struppa wrote in his more recent statement. “The Manual does not allow me to decide on my own that any faculty is a criminal or that they should be disbarred and therefore fired, which is what I am being asked to do.”
I get that people are mad at Pence. I wish he had stood up also, but when you examine the entire election, and specifically the contested states, this thing was messed up long before it ever reached Pence.
The constitution provided a clear avenue for two bodies to act on the alleged fraud long before certification day. The legislatures and state officials and the courts.
At some point, and I am not a big “Pence guy”, blaming Pence for what happened last week is like blaming the kicker for missing a 60yd field goal. There were 22 other players on the field for 58 minutes and 4 quarters along with coaches who made dozens of decisions before the poor kicker got thrown out there.
Just my .02. All the parliamentarian “hope porn” we were subjected to here and elsewhere does not change the truth of what I wrote above. Even the President’s own attorneys did not agree about what Pence could or could not do. Think about that.
All of his attorney’s agreed that the legislatures and courts could act because they had clear authority to do so. They did not. There were not enough republicrats who stood with Trump either and then we have a “riot” or whatever that was in the capital and most of those who said they would stand and object abandoned him (and us).
In the end, you can blame the kicker (Pence), but there are many more people (players, coaches, and refs) who had far more opportunity than him.
I do too. Enjoy all of his appearances .....
Thank you useful idiots who content themselves with the lies promulgated by the enemedia as "news" and don't bother looking further for the truth. Thank you bought-off traitor John Robert. We know why you had to adopt children; you ain't got the goods to father your own. Thank you Traitor of the Senate Mitch McConnell and your Chinese wife. Thank you crazed corrupt Nancy Pelousy and her assorted imbeciles such as Maxine Waters, Schumer, Nadler, Hank Johnson, AOC, Pressley, Tlaib, Omar, Schiff, Swalwell, too many more to mention.

The Left’s greatest enemy is free speech.
They want to silence this speaker and make an example to silence others.
