Booted Citibank 3 decades ago. Never again. They kept charging finance charges and interest on their credit card that had a zero balance. Scammers and thieves.

Bank did a payoff for citibank card. Payoff sent. The next month a bill for 5 cents. I didn’t pay it. Next month a late fee of $28. and the 5 cents. On and on. I told them I would take the hit on my credit report. I never paid it. 12 years later, still on my credit report. I won’t pay it, and never will. I have bought and sold a lot of property since then. Won’t pay the nickle and $85. late fees.
I had to work with Citibank in a professional capacity. They’re the south end of a northbound horse. “Jerks” does not begin to encompass it. Vile and nasty to the point of hurting , not only me, but themselves. Like “jerk” is the only way they know how to operate.
