I think what he’s saying is it doesn’t matter who the majority leader is, Republicans will cave and there are several Republicans ( like Romney and Murkowski ) who might as well be Democrats anyway.
The runoff was as crooked as the general election.
The biggest betrayal of all has been from elected republicans. This will become more obvious as time passes. My prediction is that a large part of even the left in this country will not like what happens over the next few years. But the damage is done, there is no putting the toothpaste back in the tube. We have crossed the rubicon.
