She wasn’t even in the hallway. She was in the foyer outside the hallway, along with many others as well as ARMED POLICE OFFICERS! She stood up on a ledge that abuts the doorway and the shooter shot her THROUGH the doorway. It was a very bad shoot, and is at the very least manslaughter. But, the shooter is protected, will never be identified, and is probably being feted at this very moment.
