Free Republic isn't a threat. We're not converting anyone new here. This is a small conseervative forum where we're mostly preaching to the choir.
Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube were politically "neutral" forums where previously apolitical, "low info voters" people were getting red-pilled by conservative voices. That's where the threat was.
The internet is OK with us assembling in our unpopulated backwaters. They don't want us preaching to the masses on platforms where hundreds of millions of people have accounts. That's how Trump won.

Well I trust virtually NO news nowadays. I may read something in the “news” but I process and interpret every morsel they spit out to determine which is the event/incident that occurred and then form my own thought of what happened.
