Dershowitz is not a Trump fan, but he’s what a lot of old-line liberals used to be: a defender of free speech.
I saw today that the ACLU had come out against FB and Twitter for canceling Trump and his supporters. They said that if he can be cancelled right now, what is to prevent some future company from cancelling “black, brown, and LGBT” people. Granted, that would never happen, but at least the ACLU understood the fundamental issue and actually spoke out about it.
Years ago I had no trouble disagreeing with some of the Professors stands, but I always appreciated his keen mind. He is a loyal proponent of the Constitution regardless of how I either agree or disagree with his interpretations. And he is one of the foremost scholars of the document.
The Constitution? Oh, that piece of paper democrats wipe their asses with every day.
The Democrats are at the stage of using the Constitution solely as toilet paper.
