Annnnnnd, back to “squirrel!”. Upp...oop.....I mean “covid!”.
I no longer trust any numbers on Covid. They’ve screwed us too often.
So send patients to another location, like every urban ER center does every firday night.
Somebody didn’t wear their mask?
what percentage of beds are covid patients versus flu and pneumonia? This, historically is the season for heavy flu and pneumonia hospitalizations.
And now back to Dark Winter
*Population of 8,000
Or send them to that unused hospital ship off the coast of New York and LA. Or to the field hospital set up by Samaritan’s Purse or do what great genius Andrew Coomo did. As I understand it, his brilliant efforts freed up anywhere from ten to fifteen thousand beds. Funny how that number froze. What caused it stop increasing?
What I have yet to seen mentioned in “ICU/hospitals are overwhelmed as they reach full capacity.” articles is any mention how “certificate of need” regulations limit the number of facilities, beds, and equipment. Making such a scenario extremely likely in a pandemic or even an especially busy flu season.
I personally know 11 people who have contracted covid in the past 2 weeks. They are all doing well at this time.
There must be bodies everywhere.
FYI: the saliva test seems inaccurate. Go for the nasal swab.
They called in the National Guard?
Oh no!
They’re shooting the sick people!
Or at least the ones who can’t pay their bill.
Nah, they are just there to pick up Mizz Lindsay and then on to GITMO.
Mayor:
Get snow off street.....YES.
Make sure garbage is picked up.....YES.
Lecturer on hospital.....NO.
Stay in your lane.
So, it turns out that none of the nonsense over the past year was about “flattening the curve”. I suspect the elites in power, and their flunkies in the media knew all along that there really isn’t much that mere humans can do to combat a contagious respiratory virus. The people who were always going to get sick, are getting sick, and the people who were going to die this year are dying. Sad, but that’s the human condition. Always has been, always will be.
But it was sufficient grounds to destroy a 245 year old republic. That wasn’t inevitable. But the sooner we recognize what’s been done, perhaps enough will come together to act to take back what is rightfully ours.
In Minnesota they are ditching the nasel test.
Not getting enough positives to keep the fear going.
Curve so flat that all those folks who didn’t get it in the summer when it was easier to handle now have it in the winter when hospital demand is always the highest even without COVID.
