I have read information from the left, that this is proof that a “coup” was attempted. And they claim Tte Capitol Police were part of the attempted “coup” by letting people in.
That is obviously a fantasy, but why would they let all these people in?
Because they had lost control of the situation and thought standing aside was the most peaceful option?
I believe the Capital Police were completely unprepared because their previous experience with Trump supporters has ALWAYS been peaceful.
It was the perfect opportunity for Antifa to exploit so they did.
