I feel like the reason they’re doing this is that the truth about the election will come out and he will be viewed as a martyr and be a shoe in for 2024 so they need to do whatever they can to make sure he’s in eligible to run at that time time

Well, that’s partially true but more importantly they want to make an example to send a message to anyone outside of the establishment/Congress/Deep State of what will if they try to do what Trump did.
