Twitter on Friday removed the accounts of Michael Flynn, Sidney Powell and other high-profile supporters of President Donald Trump who promoted the QAnon conspiracy theory.
The permanent bans are among the highest profile that the company has instituted as part of its efforts to crack down on misinformation and calls for violence.
Flynn and Powell both met with Trump at the White House in recent weeks as part of efforts to overturn the presidential election results. They are also high-profile figures in the QAnon community, and Flynn even took an “oath” to the conspiracy theory last year.

I never had anything to post on Twitter, but it was always a useful place to get information directly from Trump and a few others I had interest in hearing from.
If it was Q - why ban Rush Limbaugh who never said anything about Q?
Of course what better way to say that Q is a silly myth with no factual basis by torching the first amendment.
I don’t believe that was a sincere conviction ever held. It was only ever a cynical ploy to get things to where they are today.

I was unaware that Sidney Powell was a Q-Anon. Now, that explains everything. It explains why she so easily fell into the conspiracy trap the Deep State set for her.
How much damage must be done to our Republic until rational people understand that Q-Anon is a fatal poison?
It was mostly Q-Anon adherents, along with a contingent of Nick Fuentes’ band of AF “Groypers” - antisemitic white supremacists - who busted into and vandalized the U.S. Capitol this past Wednesday.
Q-Anon is directly responsible or the violence and consequences that ensued. Their followers infiltrated and sabotaged what was a peaceful rally / protest.
It is Q-Anon who destroyed any chance of hearing and redress to the election fraud that might have occurred under Sen. Ted Cruise, had not this cult perpetrated their criminal acts at the U.S. Capitol.
It feels strange not seeing President Trump’s tweets.
