The Center for Immigration Studies did the ranking for 2019.

I do not recall the exact number.

This was for MS and PHD computer science studies.

That does not mean the Chinese dominate by total population.

It just means that Carnegie Mellon is the Number #1 choice for China.

I noticed the ranking because most Americans are not aware that Carnegie Mellon is our top CS grad school.

I've been aware of Carnegie Mellon for quite some time, and have worked with people who attended there.

At this point it is somewhat of an Eastern hiring hub for Bay Area companies, although there are a number of tech companies in-and-around Pittsburg that employ their grads.
