There is perhaps a silver lining — every generation seems to need a practical lesson about the shortcomings of socialism.
My generation seemed to get it from the Carter fiasco. There was a noticeable shift to the right in public opinion towards the summer of 1980 and Ronald Reagan was able to cash in on that.
To a lesser extent, Clinton’s misdemeanours led to what then appeared to be a shift to the right in 2000. But as we’ve seen since then, it was just Globalism Plan B.
Maybe Biden and Harris will screw up so badly, so quickly, that it will be one and done for communism. I know, they can cheat again. Maybe there’s a limit to that as well.
I would prefer they don’t even get started. But if they do, watch them crash and burn.

That scenario isn’t too far fetched for me to believe. I have doubts that the public in general will buy it for long. It might generate some short term steam for their leftist regime but it will have such a nasty smell I think support for them would slowly crumble until it imploded.

I think people’s skepticism radar is on high these days though. It was before the election which gave Trump a landslide of legitimate votes. Since the election that radar has been pinging like crazy for most people.
What I’m saying is, yes, they can create a lot of chaos and hurt some people but, they aren’t going to make any friends doing it. This obviously stolen election has shaken a lot of people who were staunch Dem voters.

Look how well theyve done hyping up the coronavirus, a disease over 99.99% of people in al age demos survive excpt for the oldest, and they have a 94.5% survival rating, and thats even skewd because almost all who dont survive have prexisting conditions. Yet theyve locked down the entire country and produced networks of karen snitches and screamers and fearpers here. No kids in schools hardly. Serious talks about mandated vaccines and travel passports.

Covid was used once and people are getting wise to that scam. Sick of it. I think Trump's support was even bigger because people are sick of the lockdowns. So I guess we disagree, I don't think it went "very well for them."
