Playing “what if”: If VP Pence had sent the disputed ballots back to their state legislators, as he certainly could have and should have, according to respected constitutional experts and common sense, the crowd of Trump supporters would have cheered and grinned, and the crowd of Antifa/BLM/Marxist trouble-makers would have been entirely on their own to try to cause trouble in some way. What happened would not have happened. I lay the blame squarely on VP Pence.

Pence had to obey the Constitution rather than save it.

Except five minutes later when he got scared for his life, so he decided to usurp the office of President and call out the National Guard. To save the Constitution, you know.

I don’t really begrudge him either decision, just pointing out that any claims he has to absolute innocence are balderdash. He is a hypocrite just like everyone else.
